Roger and Liz Arnold are waiting to give you a warm and friendly welcome
to THE MILL, Lower Washfield, Tiverton, Devon. The Mill is ideally situated
with the River Exe running just a stone’s throw away from the garden
enabling you to relax, unwind and enjoy perfect peace whilst strolling
through the meadows beside the River Exe. Enjoy the wide variety of nature
and wildlife, and if you are lucky you will be able to see our resident
Kingfishers !
The Mill has recently been tastefully converted and still maintains much of its olde worlde charm with beamed ceilings throughout.
The Mill offers delicious home cooked breakfasts, taken in our Conservatory
Dining Room, at a time that suits you. Vegetarian and special diets are
no problem. We also offer tasty and traditional evening meals, using local
and home grown ingredients, finished off by home made desserts.
Relax in our large gardens and enjoy your tea or coffee on the terrace
overlooking the Mill Leat whilst listening to the variety of Bird Song.
Indeed, if you have friends or family living locally you are more than
welcome to bring them to The Mill for evening meals. Sandwiches, snacks
or picnic lunches are easily arranged, just speak to us at breakfast time.
Families are most welcome and children will enjoy swimming and paddling
in the river and picnicking on the river banks.
Our aim is to make your stay as enjoyable as possible, and our home is your home for the duration of your stay.
